Recognize the Waves That Shape You—and Choose Where They Carry You Next.
Through stories, reflection, and shared experience, The Wave Cycle explores how we discover the waves that shape our lives, recognize the people who help us find them, and use what we’ve already lived through to move toward what comes next.
Life Moves in Waves
Some waves carry us forward. Others knock us down. Some arrive unexpectedly, and some are first seen by the people around us. The Wave Cycle is a place to recognize those forces, learn from the people and experiences that shaped us, and discover how what we’ve already lived can become energy for what comes next.
Most of us spend our lives trying to control the waves by holding tightly to the ones we want and fighting the ones we don’t. But what if the goal isn’t to control them? What if it’s learning to recognize them, respond to them, and discover what they can carry forward?
This is not about motivation. It’s about orientation.
Don’t Just Watch the Waves. Join the Cycle.
Each month, The Wave Cycle brings you a story, an idea worth exploring, and a question worth carrying with you. No formulas. No motivational noise. Just an invitation to notice what’s moving in your life—and where it might carry you next.
Monthly Reflection
One story, idea, or question worth spending time with sich as something to notice, consider, and perhaps carry differently into the month ahead.

The Ideas Behind the Cycle
Find Your Waves is about discovering what’s right about you, recognizing the people and experiences that helped shape you, and learning to use what you’ve already lived as energy for what comes next.
A different way of thinking about growth—one that begins with discovering what’s already right about you. Find Your Waves explores how our experiences, relationships, successes, and wipeouts can become energy for what comes next—and why none of us learns to ride alone.

Why The Wave Cycle?
01
We Don't Choose Every Wave
Some waves we pursue. Others find us through unexpected opportunities, setbacks, relationships, or people who see something in us before we see it ourselves. What matters is learning to recognize the wave when it arrives.
02
We Don’t Ride Alone
The myth of self-reliance tells us transformation happens by ourselves. It doesn’t. Teachers, friends, family, mentors, and communities help us discover our waves, get back on the board, and sometimes remind us why we paddled out in the first place.
03
Every Wipeout Carries Energy
Our past isn’t a museum we visit for nostalgia or regret. Successes, failures, losses, relationships—even our hardest wipeouts—remain part of us. The question is how we use what we’ve lived to create energy for what comes next.
